While medication tracking systems have long been available at retail outlets, AccuPax brings the systems directly to the comfort of a customer’s home for the first time.
The AccuPax system is simple: A registered pharmacist places daily doses of medications in a continuous chronological strip of cellophane packets containing a thirty-day supply of all of the prescriptions. The strip is placed in a container specially designed for seniors and other individuals with limited dexterity and mobility. All the pills for a single dosing time are placed into individual packets, the date and time each packet should be taken is printed on the packet, and a label(s) with the prescribed dosages for each medication are placed on the outside of the container.
